Talk shows: are not 2.0

After getting used to the web 2.0 many people think that Talk shows don’t have anything to add.
It’s often the same people going from one set to the other and talking about the same things. You can get more information on Twitter in 5 minutes than in a Talk show lasting al night.
For example, in Barcelona, you can listen to the same people discussing about the same issues every day in different posts. Whats really upsets me is that they seem to ignore that the audience knows better about the news and have a clearer opinion (at least more independent and inteserting) of what’s going on.
The traditional Talk show is death. Someone should find out a new idea on how to spend time on the media. The audience is using social media and does not have any interest to support old fashioned communication styles.
We had a 10 minutes discussion this morning with friends on Twitter and it came out a proposal to invite people to subscribe a petition to the local media to change their Talk show programs.
Welcome to the 2.0 communication world!
